More dates available

A truly distinctive voice in modern blues, Earl Thomas brings his self-described “gospel with a bluesy beat” style to the stage - music rooted in Southern tradition, shaped by lived experience, and delivered with uncompromising intensity. From foot-stomping gospel to deep, slow-burning blues, the performance celebrates the shared lineage of African American sacred and secular music, “talking to the ancestors” through rhythm, harmony and raw vocal power.

Since his European debut at the 1992 Montreux Jazz Festival, Thomas has built a global reputation as a compelling live performer, with his songs being recorded by the likes of Etta James, Solomon Burke, and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. He has shared the stage with B. B. King, Gladys Knight, Albert Collins, Joe Louis Walker, Aretha Franklin, and Ike Turner.

His return to London captures the full force of his live energy, supported by The Gospel Ambassadors and the vocal firepower of Sister Leola.
